Indecent exposure and lewd acts on Merri Creek Trail

Fawkner Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team are appealing for public assistance after a man was seen in Brunswick East committing lewd acts.

The first incident occurred on the Merri Creek Trail about 11:50am on Saturday 13 January.

A man was observed running along the trail near Alister Street, in close proximity to another runner, while exposing himself and performing a lewd act.

He was then seen again running behind another woman about 12:30pm.

Investigators have released an image of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be in his 30s, Caucasian, about 162cm tall with balding dark hair and a dark-coloured beard. He was wearing an olive green t-shirt, black shorts and runners.
