Investigations are underway following reports of an industrial fire in Queanbeyan, NSW Police say.
Shortly before 10am today, police and emergency services were called to Stephens Road, Queanbeyan, following reports of a large industrial fire.
Emergency services attended and several adjoining businesses, including 20 people were evacuated.
Residential properties were not affected.
No persons were injured.
Fire & Rescue NSW officers attended and extinguished the blaze.
A crime scene was established which was examined by forensic specialists.
Members of the public suffering from respiratory conditions are advised to avoid the area.
Stephens and Lorn Roads are currently closed. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Inquiries into the incident continue.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
