Infected Blood Memorial Committee Vice-Chair, Joan Edgington, steps down from her role.

The Vice-Chair of the Infected Blood Memorial Committee, Joan Edgington, has stepped down from her role on the Committee for personal reasons.

Joan has been an integral part of the Memorial Committee's progress on driving forward the Infected Blood Inquiry's recommendations on memorialisation. The Minister for the Cabinet Office, and the Chair of the Committee, Clive Smith, both expressed their sadness at Joan's departure from the Committee. The Committee is grateful for the hard work and dedication that Joan has put into the role and wishes her all the very best for the future.
