Police are investigating a serious hit-run collision where an elderly man was hit by a car at Paradise this morning, according to SA Police.
About 6.40am, Sunday 13 May, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Lower North East Road and Darley Road after a man was struck by a car as he attempted to cross the road.
The man was rushed by ambulance to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious condition. The vehicle, possibly a white sedan, left the scene heading north on Darley Road without stopping.
Traffic cameras at the intersection show other vehicles in the vicinity at the time of the collision, police are appealing for those drivers to come forward and contact police.
Police have closed north bound lanes on Darley Road and are asking motorists to avoid the area.
