Innovative new app-based platform, PKUP, launches across Gold Coast

You've heard of ride-share and car-share platforms. But have you heard of drive-share? Well Gold Coast, you now have.

Innovative app-based drive-share platform, PKUP, this week launches into the Gold Coast – providing those who enjoy sun and socialising with an easy and affordable way to get their car (and them) home in just a few taps.

The PKUP platform first established its roots in Canberra, and due to its success there, has now expanded its offering of a safe and convenient personal driver solution into Gold Coast.

"Gold Coast… We're here!" said PKUP Chief Executive Officer, Joshua Gonzalez.

"As one of the most exciting and fast-growing markets, it was a logical decision to bring all that PKUP offers to the residents of, and visitors to the Sunshine State."

"We are undertaking a driver recruitment campaign this month, with the goal to create income-earning opportunities for 150+ locals, with a number of PKUP drivers already available to transport riders home or across the city – whatever their needs may be."

The PKUP app taps into an on-demand system connecting riders with drivers, allowing the user to select whether they want a driver to move them and their car, or just their car.

"One of the most popular reasons for using PKUP is to eliminate the risk of driving after a few drinks by having a dedicated PKUP driver arrive on request to drive your car home after you've had a few beers at the pub, a long lunch, or a girls night out. The reasons for using PKUP though don't stop there."

"We want everyone on the Gold Coast to know they can enjoy their time out and about without having to worry about how they'll get their car home," Mr Gonzalez said.

"Using PKUP is easy.
