Inquiries continue after salon owner death in Broadway

A 35-year-old woman who went into cardiac arrest while undergoing a procedure at an inner city beauty salon this week has died, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to the Carlton Street Broadway clinic about 3.30pm on Wednesday 30 August 2017

The woman was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition. She passed away today. today.

A 33-year-old woman has been charged in relation to the medical procedure.

Inquiries are continuing with a view to further legal action being considered.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
