Inquiries continue into death of woman - Moorebank

Detectives are awaiting on the results of a post-mortem examination as they continue to investigate the death of a woman at Moorebank this morning.

Emergency services were called to Bradshaw Avenue about 6am (Friday 17 March 2023), and found a fully-clothed 43-year-old woman on the driveway of a home. NSW Ambulance paramedics attempted to revive the woman, but she died at the scene.

Police found the woman had suffered a serious laceration to her left arm and there were no other obvious injuries; however, a post-mortem examination will be conducted in the coming days to formally determine the cause of death.

Detectives attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command are now investigating the circumstances of the woman's death, assisted by detectives attached to the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.

A number of witnesses are assisting investigators, but no charges have been laid in relation to this incident.

Specialist scene-of-crime officers are also examining a smashed window at the home.

Police will be preparing a report for the information of the Coroner.
