Inquiries ongoing into man missing in Sydney's south west

Bankstown police continue to appeal for public assistance as inquiries are ongoing to locate a Central Coast man missing in Sydney's south west.

Jacob Faleta, aged 18, was reported missing to officers from Bankstown Police Area Command on Sunday (8 January 2023), after he could not be located by family who were with him at Bankstown Hospital.

An investigation commenced into his whereabouts, with police and family concerned for his welfare due to medical conditions which require regular treatment and his unfamiliarity with the area.

Inquiries have revealed Jacob attended a convenience store at the intersection of the Hume Highway and Boronia Road, Greenacre, about 3.50pm on Monday (9 January 2023).

Jacob is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, about 170cm tall, of slim build, with short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue Nike hoodie which he typically wears with the hood up, grey tracksuit pants and black Nike shoes.
