Police are appealing for information to identify and locate a man who might be able to assist with inquiries into an alleged indecent assault at Newcastle, NSW Police say.
About 2pm on Friday 24 February, a 14-year-old girl left a bus at the intersection of Scott and Watt streets.
As she was walking past the bus stop on Scott Street, the teenager told police that a man touched her inappropriately.
Detectives from Newcastle City Local Area Command would like to speak to a man they believe might be able to assist with inquiries.
The man depicted is described as being aged in his 50s and was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, blue shorts with yellow paint stains and a red hat.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
