Inquiry underway after stabbing - Warilla

An investigation is underway into the stabbing of two men at Warilla this morning.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District were called to a hotel on Shellharbour Road about 12.20am (Sunday 25 August 2019), and found two men – aged 21 and 30 – with stab wounds to their legs.

The men were treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Wollongong Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

A crime scene has been established in the car park of the hotel, and a third man – aged 41 – is assisting investigators.

Detectives hope to speak with the injured men once they are deemed fit, to clarify the circumstances which lead up to them being stabbed.
