Inquiry Underway Into Brawl At Glebe Shopping Centre

Police are appealing for information as inquiries continue into a brawl at a shopping centre at Glebe yesterday.

Officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command were called to the complex on Bay Street about 5.50pm Wednesday (10 December 2025), following reports of a brawl involving a group of young people.

Police were told a group of teenagers had confronted another boy in the food court area before an argument began.

The group then began to throw chairs at the boy, with some chairs falling to the lower levels of the shopping centre. The group and the boy left before police arrived; no injuries have been reported.

Police immediately commenced an investigation into the incident and are appealing for anyone with information or vision of the incident to come forward.
