Introduction to Digital Health and Digital Entrepreneurship in Sahel Region

Hiroshima, Japan - UNITAR Division for Prosperity is launching a two-week course on Introduction to Digital Health and Digital Entrepreneurship in Sahel Region. The online training will be delivered in French from 14 March to 25 March 2022. Women, youth entrepreneurs and medical practitioners are invited to learn skills, gain knowledge, and develop attitudes to help them adapt to and participate in the digitizing world and excel in digital health and entrepreneurship.

Digital Health and Digital Entrepreneurship

La Division pour la prospérité de l'UNITAR lance un programme de formation en ligne pour mobiliser les femmes et les jeunes entrepreneurs intéressés par le secteur de la santé numérique ainsi que les femmes et les jeunes praticiens médicaux de la région du Sahel (Burkina Faso, Cameroun, Guinée, Mali, Mauritanie, Niger, Sénégal et Tchad). Soutenu par le Gouvernement du Japon, le programme permettra aux femmes et aux jeunes d'acquérir les compétences, les connaissances et les attitudes nécessaires pour s'adapter à notre monde numérique. Le programme abordera la santé numérique, l'entrepreneuriat et l'intersection de ces thèmes. Il préparera les femmes et les jeunes entrepreneurs ainsi que les femmes et les jeunes professionnels de la santé à participer et à exceller dans la santé numérique et l'entrepreneuriat dans leurs pays respectifs tout en jouant un rôle crucial dans leurs communautés pour ("leave no one behind") " ne laisser personne de côté " vers l'Agenda 2030

Le programme se déroulera du 14 mars 2022 au 25 mars 2022 sur les introductions à la fois à la santé numérique et à l'entrepreneuriat numérique. Ce cours de deux semaines en français comprendra un cours en ligne à votre rythme, complété par une série de webinaires en ligne et de discussions entre pairs. Le programme mettra également les participants en contact avec des experts sur ces sujets. Le programme est ouvert à toutes les femmes et les jeunes entrepreneurs intéressés par le secteur de la santé numérique, ainsi qu'aux femmes et aux jeunes médecins praticiens. Les candidats des secteurs public, privé, universitaire, médical et civique de la région sont encouragés à postuler

UNITAR Division for Prosperity is launching an online training course on digital health in the Sahel region. The French-language course is for women and youth entrepreneurs and medical practitioners who are interested in mobilizing digital technologies for health in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, and Chad. The course is supported by the Government of Japan.

The course will discuss digital health, entrepreneurship, and the intersection between the two. Women and youth entrepreneurs and medical practitioners will learn skills, gain knowledge, and develop attitudes to help them adapt to and participate in the digitizing world and excel in digital health and entrepreneurship. When they complete the course, the participants will be better prepared to help "leave no one behind" in their communities, towards the 2030 Agenda.

This two-week course, Introduction to Digital Health and Digital Entrepreneurship, will be held in French during 14-25 March 2022. It will include a self-paced online course, supplemented by a series of webinars and online peer-to-peer discussions. The course will link participants with subject-matter experts.

The training is open to all women and youth in in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, and Chad who are (1) entrepreneurs interested in the digital health sector or (b) medical practitioners. Candidates from the public, private, academic, medical, and civic sectors across the region are encouraged to apply.
