A man was arrested after being caught on a construction site at Ridgehaven overnight.
Police responded to alarms at a sports clubhouse under construction on Hazel Grove, Ridgehaven just after 2.30am on Wednesday 30 July.
An intruder had been spotted on CCTV and patrols on the ground could hear someone coughing and moving around inside. Police cordoned off the premises and called in Police Dog Gus to help search.
The man was quickly located by PD Gus and arrested.
The 28-year-old Tea Tree Gully man was charged with being unlawfully on premises and unlawful possession. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today.
