Intruder caught inside house at Sturt, South Australia

A man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a house overnight at Sturt.

Just after 3am, Thursday 3 March, patrols were called to the property in Carlow Street, after the occupants disturbed a man inside their house. The suspect was held by one of the male occupants until police arrived a short time later.

While at the cells, police located a number of personal cards including a driver's licence which had allegedly been stolen from a car parked in the driveway of a house in Parson Street. The 18-year-old from Dover Gardens, was charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, illegal interference and theft and refused bail. He will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court later today.
