Intruders Arrested At Whyalla Property

Three young men were arrested after allegedly being caught inside a Whyalla property in the early hours of Tuesday.

Just after 1am on Tuesday 31 March, police were called to a home in Havelberg Street, Whyalla Stuart by reports there were people seen on the property.

Patrols surrounded the home and located a smashed window at the rear of the building. Three people were intercepted exiting the premises, allegedly in possession of household goods.

A 17-year-old boy, an 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, all from Whyalla, were arrested and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and theft.

They were bailed to appear in the Whyalla Youth Court and Magistrates Court on 18 May.

All stolen property was recovered.
