Investigation into Devon Meadows death continues

Homicide Squad detectives are appealing for public assistance as they continue to investigate the discovery of a woman's body in Devon Meadows yesterday.

Emergency services were called to a property on Cross Road, between Stanley and Murray Roads, about 10am on Tuesday, 26 May.

The body of a woman had been located at that property.

She has since been identified as 69-year-old Devon Meadows woman Karen Leek.

While the exact circumstances are still to be determined, police are treating her death as suspicious.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have seen any activity at the property over the past few days to come forward.

They would also like to hear from anyone who drove past the address or through the area and has dash-cam footage.
