Investigation into Gilles Plains disturbance, South Australia

Eastern District Police are seeking information from the public following a disturbance early this morning involving a group of people at Gilles Plains.

About 4.45am on Sunday 18 August a disturbance took place in the car park of the Hungry Jack's restaurant on North East Road between four people.

Two men and a woman in a small dark two-door hatchback became involved in an altercation with another man, who ended up leaving with them in the hatchback.

Police were contacted after witnesses to the disturbance expressed concern for the man who left with the group.

It is unclear if the group are known to each other and the reason behind the disturbance.

Investigators are now seeking the assistance of anyone who witnessed the incident or the persons directly involved in the disturbance in the Hungry Jack's car park to come forward and contact police to ensure the safety of all involved.
