Police have commenced an investigation after a pedestrian was struck by a bus in Concord overnight, NSW Police say.
About 11.40pm tomorrow, emergency services were called to the intersection of Burwood Road and Crane Street, Concord, following reports of a crash.
Police have been told a 24-year-old man, was struck by a bus.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the bus, a 75-year-old man, was not injured during the incident. He underwent a roadside breath test which was negative.
Officers attached to Burwood Local Area Command established a crime at the location, which was forensically examined.
Investigations are underway and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
