An investigation is underway after a man was stabbed near Blacktown this evening, NSW Police say.
Just before 10pm (Friday 12 October 2018), emergency services were called to Munmorah Circuit at Woodcroft, following reports a man had been stabbed by an unknown group of people, who then fled the scene on foot.
The man was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment.
Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A second crime scene has been established nearby on the corner of Richmond Road and Woodcroft Drive.
As inquiries continue, anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
