Investigations underway after shots fired at Auburn

Investigations are continuing after shots were fired in Sydney's west this morning.

Just before 8.30am (Thursday 9 January 2020), emergency services were called to a home in Ettalong Road, Auburn, following reports shots had been fired.

Upon arrival, officers from Auburn Police Area Command found shots had been fired into a vehicle parked outside the home and into the property.

No injuries have been reported.

Police established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Initial inquiries suggest the shooting was targeted.

As investigations continue, officers are urging anyone who saw a late-model white BMW sedan leaving the area at the time to come forward.
