An investigation is underway following the death of a woman in the state’s Central West, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to a home on Cross Street, Forbes, following reports a 74-year-old woman had fallen just before 7.30am on Saturday 2 September 2017.
The woman was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Forbes Hospital, where she later died.
Officers attached to Lachlan Local Area Command were notified and have commenced inquiries into the woman’s death, which is being treated as suspicious.
On Sunday 3 September 2017, a search warrant was executed at the home and a 74-year-old man is assisting with the investigation.
Inquiries are continuing.
