There are a number of factors that make a journal valuable to an author when publishing their research, such as quality and speed of peer review, reach and visibility, readership and journal citation-based indicators such as the Journal Impact Factor. We know researchers seek the maximum possible impact for their work, and we are committed to providing that as part of our overall publishing experience. Journal Impact Factors are an important part of this, but the performance of a journal or quality of the research cannot be expressed in any single metric.
Our intention is to provide a growing range of meaningful metrics and indicators related to journal performance and impact to give researchers the information they need to decide where best to publish their work.
You can see how our journals performed in 2019 here. For journals launched in 2019 or 2020, full data is not available yet.
