JACET arrest northern suburbs, South Australia

Detectives from the SA Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (SA JACET), a partnership between SAPOL's Public Protection Branch and the Australian Federal Police, arrested and charged a 57-year-old man from the Northern suburbs for possessing and disseminating child exploitation material (1 x aggravated, 1 x basic), and breaching an intervention order.

The man was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Wednesday 3 March 2021.

Police wish to remind the public the trading, downloading, accessing Child Exploitation Material is not a victimless crime. Every image depicts a child being abused and these actions perpetuate the abuse. Members of the public who have any information about people involved in child exploitation are urged to call Crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
