The Liberals and Nationals will be fighting in VCAT today for the release of secret documents sent to Allan, in her capacity as Minister for Transport Infrastructure and as Deputy Premier, in relation to corruption and the CFMEU.
The Government has refused to provide the documents as part of the Freedom of Information process.
Shadow Minister for Financial Integrity and Budget Repair David Davis said: "As Applicant I will argue at VCAT that it is in the public interest for these documents to be released in full and that covering up the documents on matters of corruption is not in the public interest.
"What is the Premier hiding? What is the Government covering up? What was Jacinta Allan told about CFMEU corruption?
"The VCAT hearing is an open hearing and I encourage Victorians to log in and watch how this Labor Government tries to avoid scrutiny and being transparent.
"An elected Victorian Liberal and Nationals government will establish a Royal Commission into CFMEU misconduct and corruption across Big Build projects."
