Jam-packed 'Parramatta Nights' event series to launch in March

Multiple outdoor spaces across the Parramatta CBD will be transformed into buzzing entertainment venues when Council's Parramatta Nights event series kicks off on 25 March with a wide variety of performances and activities.

Running until 18 April, the jam-packed Parramatta Nights program features a gamut of live music acts, as well as an open-air cinema, outdoor roller-skating rink and carnival rides.

The event series, which was originally scheduled for January, had to be postponed due to COVID-19.

"I am thrilled to announce the launch of our Parramatta Nights program," City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Bob Dwyer said.

"It will be the largest in-person event we've held since the pandemic hit, so I am looking forward to presenting this much-anticipated, COVID-safe event to our community and visitors.

"Parramatta Nights has something for everyone, including plenty to entertain the kids while they're on school holidays, so make sure to book your tickets now."

Parramatta Nights takes place across 22 days and three key locations: Prince Alfred Square, City Centre Car Park rooftop, and Parramatta Square. All events will be COVID-safe and ticketed and range in price from free to $10.

"There's always so much to see and do in Parramatta, but this autumn is set to be particularly busy with a wide range of shows, sports matches and events happening across the City - it's the place to be," Cr Dwyer said.
