Building on the success of its inaugural cohort in August, Florida State University's Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship (JMI) is hosting the second community boot camp for the Accelerate Franklin Entrepreneurship Program (AFEP) in Eastpoint, Florida, this December.
AFEP seeks to help emerging entrepreneurs looking to take existing idea-stage, micro and small ventures into sustainable ventures in Franklin County and other adjacent communities.
"The AFEP Boot Camp was an invaluable experience," said Tori Kilanowskiai, a graduate of the first cohort. "I got the chance to network with great people, hear incredible stories from entrepreneurs, and learned so much great information about starting a business. It was a massive boost of knowledge, encouragement and inspiration!"
The boot camps are scheduled for three consecutive Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 5, 12 and 19 at the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve in Eastpoint. A networking lunch is provided at each boot camp.
Interested participants are encouraged to apply online by Nov. 28.
