Council is seeking new committee members to provide advice and oversight of the Community Support Program. Nominations are open now for six vacant positions.
The Community Support Programs Section 355 Advisory Committee will help make sure that the services we offer meet local needs and comply with regulations and legislation.
Who we're looking for
We need people from a range of different backgrounds and with diverse experiences to fill six open seats on this new committee.
- One person with experience in the legal, audit or risk sector
- Two people from a clinical background
- One person with an interest in Council's Community Support Program and community aged care
- Two people with direct experience in Council's Community Support Program, either as a client themselves or as someone who supports a client of our services
Committee members will advise on the quality, accessibility and efficacy of services provided by Council's Community Support Program.
