Jubilee Park Bridle Trail Closing for Restoration

A section of Toowoomba's Jubilee Park Bridle Trail will close temporarily in the coming month to allow nearby restoration works to be completed in the park.

Toowoomba Regional Council Parks and Recreation Services portfolio spokesperson Cr Tim McMahon said work to reinstate the Jubilee Park Bridle Trail between Harvey Street and Warana Avenue would be undertaken from Monday, June 9 to Friday, July 4, 2025, weather permitting.

"The works will repair sections of the Bridle Trail that were damaged during the 2022 flood," Cr McMahon said.

"This section of the Bridle Trail has been closed since it was damaged in 2022 and will remain closed to allow the works to be completed safely.

"An additional section of the Trail from Warana Avenue to Jellicoe Street, Toowoomba will be closed to the public to allow construction machinery and materials to be transported to the site.

"Council appreciates our community's patience as we complete the repairs to the Bridle Trail.

"The project highlights our commitment to upgrading and revitalising our recreational spaces, ensuring they remain safe for everyone to enjoy."
