KBF goes digital

Plans are progressing for the redevelopment of the Kingston Butter Factory, and locals and interested stakeholders can now keep up to date through a dedicated website and social media pages.

The Kingston Butter Factory (KBF) redevelopment is a game changer, creating an outdoor events space and innovation hub that will help position Logan as an innovative, dynamic city of the future.

The new website, kbfprecinct.com.au, provides an overview of the project and will include updates as the redevelopment progresses towards the precinct's official opening next year.

In particular, website visitors will be able to learn about attractions in 2020 and beyond at the 5000-capacity outdoor events space as the events program is developed.

The space will feature a 250sqm permanent stage that will host a mix of community, cultural and commercial events including concerts, music festivals and markets.

The redevelopment project positions the city for the future while honouring its rich heritage.

The Kingston Butter Factory has stood in the same location since 1909 and is one of the few remaining links to Logan's dairying heritage.

As part of the redevelopment project, the exterior of the building will be renovated and updated, while still retaining its historical look and feel.
