KERBSIDE WASTE COLLECTION UPDATE 20 July

City of Port Phillip
Citywide crews are out in Elwood and Ripponlea today picking up scheduled collections in addition to missed bins across the municipality.
They are again being supported by our Council crews, who are also working on missed bin collections across Port Phillip.
Council officers are still conducting daily audits and double-checking areas scheduled for collection the day prior, to verify that collection has taken place. If any of your bins have not been emptied by the morning after your scheduled kerbside collection day, please report the missed bins to us as soon as possible via the Snap Send Solve app or through My Port Phillip on our website.
We have received reports from some residents that their bins have not been returned properly after collection. We have addressed this with our contractors, who are reinforcing this message in their daily briefings to their crews to remind them that all bins must be returned to their collection point. If you are experiencing any issues with bins being left on the street or not being returned properly, please let us know so that we can address it promptly.
There has been a substantial reduction in missed bins, with kerbside waste collection services getting better each day - but it's still not where we want it to be. Although the numbers show that service is improving, we know there's still work to be done. Unfortunately some properties are still being missed, so we are working closely with Citywide to rectify these issues and restore service levels for everyone in our community.
