A man has died after his car struck a tree in Kilsyth this evening.
It is believed the vehicle was travelling on Mount Dandenong Road when it left the roadway and struck the tree just after 8.30pm.
The male sole occupant, who is yet to be formally identified, sadly died at the scene.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and ask anyone who witnessed the incident or with dashcam footage to come forward.
