The National Parks and Wildlife Service has issued an evacuation notice for Kosciuszko National Park including resorts and all places located within Kosciuszko National Park.
All people must exit Kosciuszko National Park boundaries before 10am tomorrow (Friday 3 January).
The evacuation notice comes ahead of predicted bad fire weather on Saturday and multiple fires already in and near the park.
Evacuation Centres are at:
- Tumut – Club Tumut Bowling Club
- Cooma - Showground Multi-Function Centre.
