The President of Right to LifeAustralia Ms Margaret Tighe today condemned the action of the Federalopposition leader Bill Shorten who has promised to provide Tasmanian women witha specially built late-term abortion clinic – disguising its real purpose as ameans of providing "reproductive health" for Tasmanian women.
Ms Tighe said "How pathetic thatboth the local ALP leader, Rebecca White and the federal ALP leader BillShorten’s main promise to the women of Tasmania is a place especially built tobe used to kill their babies before birth.
She said "As we always sayabortion leaves two victims – one dead and one wounded".
"Meanwhile" says Ms Tighe "we areplanning to advertise to remind Tasmanian voters that Labor is no longer theparty of the underdog but rather the party that facilitates the killing ofbabies before birth".
