"CQ coal miners have had to put up with green activists rolling into town grandstanding about their industries and livelihoods to win votes thousands of kilometres away," Mr O'Connor said.
"They have had to put up with the LNP's shameful scare campaign about the future of the coal industry, which is about nothing except a couple of politicians hanging on to their seats.
"The truth is, coal mineworkers have been totally dudded by a bunch of National MPs in Central Queensland who have done nothing as thousands of permanent jobs have been replaced by casual labour hire.

"George Christensen hasn't noticed, because he hasn't been here.
"Our message to coal mineworkers this Labour Day is that we've got your back.
