Last Chance To See Baker Boys At Alan Baker Art Gallery

The Baker Boys

Time is running out to experience The Baker Boys, the acclaimed exhibition showcasing three generations of the Baker family's artistic talent.

With just over one month left before it closes on Sunday 30 November, residents, visitors and art lovers alike are urged to visit Alan Baker Art Gallery, at Macaria, 37 John Street in Camden.

Featuring works by Normand Baker, Alan D. Baker and his son Gary Baker, the exhibition tells the story of a family whose creativity has shaped Australian art for decades.

Attendees will enjoy striking portraits, evocative landscapes and personal stories that capture the Macarthur region's cultural heritage.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said the exhibition invited audiences to connect with the rich history of Australian art through the lens of one incredible family's passion and talent.

"This exhibition is a rare opportunity to see the Baker family's legacy brought together under one roof," she said.

"Walking through the gallery feels like stepping into the heart of Camden's artistic story.

"It's been a highlight for Alan Baker Art Gallery since it opened in May, and I encourage everyone to experience it before it finishes up next month."

Residents can experience The Baker Boys during gallery opening hours, which are from 11am to 4pm, Thursday to Sunday. Admission to this exhibition is free.
