There is just one week left for those interested in having a stall at Rockhampton Regional Council's Tropicana event, with Expressions of Interest closing at 5pm on June 30.

Council's Environment Spokesperson, Councillor Drew Wickerson, said Council was looking for all kinds of people to take part, including food vendors, presenters, performers, and local organisations.

"Tropicana is Rockhampton Region's annual event celebrating all things innovative and sustainable," said Cr Wickerson.

"Held in the Rockhampton Botanic Gardens, Tropicana brings our community together with local organisations, businesses and industry leaders, to get hands-on and be inspired in a fun, family-friendly environment.

"Last year's event attracted over 3,000 participants and this year's Tropicana, to be held on Saturday September 14, is shaping up to be even bigger and better!

"If you want to be part of what promises to be a fantastic event then get your Expressions of Interest in now."

We expect all stallholders, vendors, presenters and performers to work with us to ensure a great experience for event patrons by embracing the environment and sustainability values of this event. All Expressions of Interest will be assessed and awarded based on these values. Tips and guidelines for stallholders will be provided ahead of the event.

Please complete and submit your form by 5pm, 30 June 2019. Successful applicants will be notified by 30 July 2019.
