Last week to register for Women in Council workshop

Time is running out to register for Wagga Wagga City Council's free Women in Council workshop.

The workshop is for women considering standing for council in the 2021 NSW Local Government Elections and will be presented by the Australian Local Government Women's Association (ALGWA) on Saturday 10 April 2021.

Current female councillors from across the state will speak on the day and hold a Q&A session, including NSW ALGWA President Councillor Cassandra Coleman.

Council is also holding seminars on 21 April and 4 May for all potential candidates.

The Women in Council workshop is a free session with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided.

Registrations close on Saturday 3 April 2021.
