Laundrette taken to cleaners

Police are not throwing in the towel in their investigation into three thefts from a Burwood East laundrette last week, Victoria Police say.

It is believed the same man entered the Burwood Highway store three times on Wednesday 23 August between 1.15am and 4.30am.

Each time he attended the man used tools to open the coin hoppers of the machine, removing a substantial amount of money in coins.

He then made a clean get-away and was last seen walking east on Burwood Highway.

Investigators have released images of a man they believe can assist in their enquiries and hope to get loads of information.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
