Legal action launched over OMCG property, South Australia

Today an application for restraint was filed with the Supreme Court before Justice Kelly, by the DPP over property situated at Cowirra, also known as ‘Ponde’.

The property is owned by Disorganized Developments Pty Ltd, of which two current Directors are long standing members of the Hells Angels Outlaw Motor Cycle gang.

On 30 January 2017, Mark Robert Boyce was brutally assaulted by three men at Elizabeth South and later died on 8 February 2017 from the injuries he sustained. A Toyota Echo was used by the offenders to arrive at and escape from the scene of the murder.

On 26 October 2017 Joshua Grant was arrested and in June of this year convicted of murder.

On 17 and 18 September, an extensive search was conducted at Ponde, whereby police located the remains of the Toyota Echo used in the murder of Mark Boyce. This vehicle and now the land are considered instruments of the crime.

There is currently a suppression order in place over the names of the remaining suspects.

The application for restraint was adjourned to be heard on 29 January 2020.
