Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Leo Ellis.
The 42-year-old is wanted on warrants for failing to appear at court on 20 August for assault matters.
He is Aboriginal and described as 170cm tall with brown/grey shoulder length hair.
Ellis is known to frequent the Preston, Reservoir and Heidelberg areas.
Investigators have released an image of Ellis in the hope that someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
