Let us know your caravan and camping needs

Bass Coast Shire Council is seeking feedback from the community on the caravan and camping options that are available across the region.

Community consultation for this engagement will be held online at www.engage.basscoast.vic.gov.au/camping from Friday, 8 April until Sunday, 8 May.

Bass Coast Shire Mayor, Cr Michael Whelan, said that with its close proximity to Melbourne, Bass Coast is popular with visitors, for both short and long stays.

"Our region offers over 180 kilometres of spectacular coastline, beautiful wilderness areas, scenic hinterland and a laid back lifestyle," Cr Whelan said.

"Day trips can be a lot of fun, but less than 24 hours spent in our magnificent region just isn't enough.

"That's why many visitors choose to stay and play longer. Whether you've stayed with us before, or intend to in the future, we'd love to hear your feedback on what your caravan and camping needs are.

"Every voice counts and we want to hear yours, to provide us with information that we can consider when making decisions around accommodation in the future," Cr Whelan concluded.
