Level Crossing Upgrade - The Escort Way, Borenore
UGL Regional Linx will be undertaking a level crossing renewal at The Escort Way, Borenore, from 8-19 August 2026 to improve rail safety, reliability and long-term performance.
⚠️ Road Closure and Detour The level crossing will be closed from 6pm Saturday 15 August until 6am Monday 17 August while critical works are completed.
A signed detour via Molong and the Mitchell Highway will be in place for motorists travelling between Orange, Cudal, Manildra, Parkes and Forbes. Please allow an additional 20 minutes travel time.
During the works, residents may notice increased worker and vehicle activity, construction noise, overnight lighting and traffic control measures.
✅ Access for local residents and emergency services will be maintained throughout the closure.
