Residents are invited to pick up free pre-loved books at Bayside Libraries from Monday 23 March to Monday 13 April 2026, with a wide and ever-changing selection of second-hand titles available for all ages and interests.
By dropping into your local library and choosing a few free reads for your Easter collection, you can enjoy great stories while supporting Bayside's circular economy - giving well-loved books a second life instead of sending them to waste.
Free books will be available across all library branches, and everyone in the community is encouraged to browse, take what they need and discover something new. Reusing books not only reduces waste but also promotes sustainable habits and keeps stories circulating for others to enjoy.
This initiative also fosters a love of reading across all ages by making books more accessible to everyone. Whether you discover a new favourite author or revisit a classic, sharing pre-loved books strengthens community connection and promotes a more environmentally conscious lifestyle.
