Library remains open for click and collect

The Swan Hill Regional Library remains open for click and collect services.

Swan Hill Rural City Council Libraries Manager, Camille Cullinan said that despite Regional Victoria now taking the third step on the roadmap to reopening, the library is not yet able to open its doors in the traditional way.

"The click and collect process is proving to be popular in ensuring that our book loving community can still access the materials that they want.

Ms Cullinan said there were a number of ways customers can request library materials either online or over the phone.

"When items are available an appointment will be made to collect the items from library foyer.

"Appointment times will be between 9.30 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday and there will be a 15 minute gap between each appointment," she said.

"The Library housebound service has been extended to other library customers who are in the high risk category, that were not receiving this service.

"It has also been extended to customers in outlying communities who would usually access the Mobile Library Service," she said.
