Light plane crash, Kybong

Two men have died following a plane crash at Kybong this afternoon (November 9).

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 2.45pm, two light aircrafts have collided in the air before crashing into a paddock near Glory Hill Road.

The pilots and sole occupants in each aircraft, a 80-year-old Caboolture man and a 77-year-old Glenwood man, were declared deceased at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the incident.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
