Linear Park Mascot, Fitness Stations: Bayside

Bayside Council is planning an exciting new upgrade for Linear Park, Mascot with a proposal to install three new outdoor fitness stations along the park corridor between Church Avenue and John Street.

The community is now invited to have their say on the types of fitness stations they would like to see included in the park. Residents are encouraged to share their preferences and help shape a space that supports active lifestyles, social connection and everyday wellbeing.

Outdoor fitness equipment plays an important role in creating healthy, welcoming public spaces. These new stations will provide free, accessible exercise opportunities for people of all ages and fitness levels - whether you're looking to build strength, improve mobility, or simply enjoy being active outdoors.

To make it easy to get involved, Council will also host a Have Your Say stall at the Lunar New Year Festival at Cahill Park on Friday 27 September. Community members are welcome to drop by, ask questions, view the proposed options and provide feedback in person.

This project is part of Council's ongoing commitment to enhancing local parks and creating spaces that bring people together. To learn more about the proposal and share your feedback online.
