Lithgow St Gets New Look With Streetscape Revamp

Beveridge's streetscape has received a fresh new look, with works now complete on the central nature strip along Lithgow Street.

The upgrade has transformed the area by removing overgrown grasses, weeds and inconsistent plantings, replacing them with a clean and durable granitic sand finish.

The result is a more consistent and well-maintained streetscape that enhances the look and feel of the town centre.

This improvement supports Council's commitment to fostering civic pride across the Shire by improving local amenity and creating places the community can feel proud of.

It also reflects the priorities outlined in the Council Plan 2025-2029, which focuses on enhancing the presentation and liveability of our towns.

By simplifying the treatment of the central median, the upgrade will also make ongoing maintenance more efficient, helping keep the area looking neat and tidy over time.

Council thanks the community for their patience during these works and looks forward to continuing to invest in projects that strengthen local identity and pride in Beveridge.
