International Women's Day happens every year on March 8th. It is a day where around the world we celebrate the progress and achievements of women and the diverse contribution that women make to our communities.
This year we are celebrating women in our local community who are working in male dominated industries and exploring the challenges and benefits they experience as well as highlighting to young women the opportunities available to them. A series of short videos has been filmed in and around Lithgow and will be launched at our movie premier event on Monday March 8 at the Foundations in Portland commencing at 6:00pm.
