Local tradespeople encouraged to attend 'Tradie Talks'

Local tradespeople encouraged to attend 'Tradie Talks' sessions for future works

Two 'Tradie Talks' sessions are being held in St Arnaud and Stawell next week, in preparation for upcoming tenders and contracts, which will assist local tradespeople in setting up to apply for local works.

The St Arnaud session will take place at the St Arnaud depot on Monday 3 June at 5pm, while the Stawell session will be located at the Stawell depot on Wednesday 5 June at 5pm.

Local tradespeople are highly encouraged to attend the sessions, which will cover what upcoming projects will be taking place within the shire, and the steps local tradespeople can take to be a part of those projects.

Interested local trade and supply businesses are also encouraged to come along with questions, comments and queries.

Mayor of Northern Grampians Shire Council, Cr Kevin Erwin said, "We have a number of big ticket items coming up within our shire, which provide a great opportunity for our local tradespeople to get involved."

"I'd certainly encourage any tradesperson who's interested in working on our big local projects to come along to an information session and see what's required."
