Located marine markers at Beachmere

At 9.40 this morning three marine markers containing phosphorus material have washed up on the beach between Coronation Avenue and Prince Street, Beachmere, covering an area of approximately 50 metres.

Police would like to thank the locals who contacted police and reported the location of the markers.

Police have arranged safe disposal of these items.

If anyone locates one theses markers or any similar device, please leave them in place and call the police to organise safe retrieval and disposal.
